El mundo que fue y el que es will be released in the Spanish cinemas on next December 16th. Its release will coincide with the opening of the first Pablo Llorca´s exhibition, in Casa Sin Fin gallery (that opens the Madrid branch the next November 15th). Old and New is the title of the show, that will display some images of different lengths, from 30 seconds up to 10 minutes, chosen from 6 degrees project, that Pablo Llorca has been making from 2004. 6 degrees is the gathering of documentary recordings aiming to get any kind of situations. Its aim is trying to seize the narrow relationship between the different things the world can shelter.

As we mentioned in former editions, Pedro Casablanc won the Prize to Best Actor in Las Palmas International Film Festival. It´s the first time that he wins a film prize, although he has won a lot of theatrical ones. The members of the jury were the Polish director Jerzy Skolimowsky, the Spanish writer and filmmaker Vicente Molina Foix, the Canadian actress Arsinée Khanjian and the French director Pascal Vimenet.

The world that was and that is has been guest to participate in the next edition of Different, the independent film festival that take place in Paris each june.

El mundo que fue y el que es será estrenada en los cines españoles el próximo 16 de diciembre. Su estreno coincidirá con la inauguración de la primera exposición de Pablo Llorca, que será en la galería Casa Sin Fin (que abre sede madrileña el próximo 15 de noviembre). Lo viejo y lo nuevo es el título de la muestra, que desplegará varias imágenes de duraciones diferentes, de entre 30 segundos y 10 minutos, las cuales han sido seleccionadas del proyecto 6 grados, que Pablo Llorca lleva realizando desde 2004. 6 grados es la acumulación de grabaciones documentales que tratan de captar todo tipo de situaciones. El fin es intentar aprehender la relación estrecha entre los diferentes fenómenos sucedidos en el mundo.

Como ya dijimos en anteriores ediciones, Pedro Casablanc ha obtenido por la película el Premio al Mejor Actor en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Las Palmas. Es la primera vez que gana un premio cinematográfico, pese a que son numerosos los teatrales que posee. El jurado estuvo formado por el director polaco Jerzy Skolimowsky, el escritor y cineasta Vicente Molina Foix, la actriz canadiense Arsinée Khanjian y el director francés Pascal Vimenet.

RECOLETOS up & down is the title of the new feature directed by Pablo Llorca. It narrates the life of Jaime (Jaime Pujol), director of a company that organizes sporting events. He has a lover, Belén (Zay Nuba), who trusts he will leave his wife, Berta (Beatriz Pecker). But Jaime has a problem: his father-in-law is the owner of the company. On the other hand, José Antonio starts working as janitor in the building where Jaime lives with his family, and where Belén also lives. Jaime, president of his condominium, recognizes him as one of the policeman that beaten him in commissary thirty years ago (during the Spanish period called Transition, Jaime was a militant of a Leftist party). As José Antonio starts doing some illegal affairs in the house (subletting parking lots, using empty flats…), Jaime tries to fired him. But José Antonio makes him blackmail, in relationship with his affair with Belén…

The shooting of the film will be completed in next February 2012. La Cicatriz/La Bañera Roja produces.

RECOLETOS arriba y abajo es el título del nuevo largometraje dirigido por Pablo Llorca. Narra la vida de Jaime, director de una empresa que organiza eventos deportivos, el cual tiene una amante, Belén, a la que suele decir que dejará a su mujer. Pero tiene un problema: el dueño de la empresa es su suegro. Por otro lado, José Antonio comienza a trabajar como conserje en el edificio donde Jaime vive con su familia, y donde Belén también reside. Jaime, que es presidente de su comunidad de propietarios, lo reconoce como uno de los policías que treinta años antes le pegó una paliza en comisaría (durante la Transición Jaime era militante de un partido de izquierdas). Como José Antonio comienza a hacer pequeños asuntos ilegales dentro de la casa (realquila plazas de garaje, usa pisos vacíos, etc.), Jaime trata de expulsarlo. Pero se encuentra con que aquél le hace chantaje por su amante…

La película, que será acabada de rodar en febrero de 2012, cuenta entre sus protagonistas a Jaime Pujol (Jaime), Cesáreo Estébanez (José Antonio), Zay Nuba (Belén), Beatriz Pecker (Berta), María Victoria Mora (Margarita), y José Ramón Rey (Fernando Baena). Produce La Cicatriz/La Bañera Roja.
